What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?
My thoughts is that it would be equally fun and exciting as well as a burden. It would be great to be able to live long as see what happens next in life and see your children and grandchildren grow. As well as seeing the new and innovative things the world comes up with in technology but then other side to that is seeing all the bad things. War, maybe the rise and fall of a government or civilization. Seeing all your love one and friends die and you still being left behind. Again in theory great you can do all the things you could ever come up with or dream of as well as borrow from others but if you are the only one who lives a long life you will always feel untethered to the world. The moment the people of your bloodline are no more there won’t be anyone else holding you here. You could always start a new family which is awesome but again they will all move on n you won’t. Plus it would be hard to stay with said family if you never age so if it was me I would want to age as normal but be healthy n like maybe have a reset option so once I lived a “full” life when I start over no one would be the wiser. It would be like that one person that looks like there great great great….. but it is actually you lol you would also have to deal with getting new birth certificate n ID and all that stuff so it would be a hassle not to mention you would have to worry about governments finding out and wanting to cut you open n do experiments to see if you are the key for everyone to life long lives and that just sounds awful
