Coming to Liam feels his arms and legs are bonded to something that is metal. He squeezes his eye closed, the pain in his head making itself known, and he tries moving around a little to test how far he can move before his binds hinder him. When he opens his eyes into slits at first, letting my eyes adjust to the light, what he sees has him catching his breath. Out the window, he sees the actual Milky Way, the star constellation he could barely see regularly. He wishes he could take a picture of it; he must have said that out loud because the next thing he knows movement from the corner of his eye, and he sees Dragon Dude with his phone, holding it up, and sees the flash from my camera. I question not only how Dragon Dude got my phone but also how does he know how to use it. Again, he must have said this out loud because Dragon Dude scoffs and says something that doesn’t make sense to him, which is weird because he understood them when they were taking me from my home and everything I know. He must have realized I didn’t understand him because he tilted his head to the side and said something. There is sounds coming from the side of the room I can’t see, and I hear Jessica saying something, but it muffles like she isn’t in the room. There is the sound of running or quick steps, and Jessica is standing over me. She is holding something to her face, and when she moves it, I see her face is already bruising from me hitting her, and I wince. “Yea it doesn’t look good, but it doesn’t hurt that much, and it will be gone before we reach our destination.” She goes to the side where a console and a lot of instruments are with different monitors, and he realizes that he is completely naked except for the gown he is wearing, which looks like the ones you would wear when getting a full checkup.

When Jessica comes back to him, he tunes in on the fact that she has been talking to Dragon Dude this whole time, and what caught my attention was the sound of her laughing. She has the huge syringe look-alike thing that has the biggest needle he has ever seen, and he had all kinds of different tattoos on his body, so he isn’t scared of needles, but Jesus. Before he can protest, she is turning my head and sticking me in the back of the neck. I go to grab it after she is done, and again is stopped by the fact that he is strapped in and starts cussing up a storm, calling everyone and their momma out of the name, starting with Scott and Kymberly, ending with Dragon Dude. Jessica laughs again, and Dragon Dude grunts, “As I said before, little human, my name isn’t Dragon Dude, it’s Cornelius Ashbourne.” He places his fist over his heart and slightly bow like he is showing him respect.  Liam is staring at him with his mouth hanging open. He couldn’t understand him when he first woke up, and he gets that he woke up before they thought he would, but it’s still crazy how just a painful pinch in the back of the head helps him understand Dragon… I guess he has to start calling him Cornelius now that he knows his real name. He is laying there, and a wormhole opens in the sky,” This isn’t fair, you weren’t there for me, just let me go back home and take Scott or a criminal who doesn’t have his or her whole life ahead of them.” Tears are rolling down his face, and he can’t wipe them away because he is tied up, unable to fight or defend himself. He comes over and puts a clawed hand on his shoulder and squeezes, “I am sorry, Liam, it was your government who put that rule into play. This is the second time it was enforced, but the last person offered up someone they knew to be guilty of a crime they had gotten away with. It is the first time someone innocent has been taken, and I am sorry. When we started this exchange, we first took criminals to help your government with the overflow in your jails. After we did that, we started the poll and your government personally vied who we were taking and approved it. We then found these people and tried to make sure they were alone when we took them, so no one was the wiser. The government then comes up with a back story for the missing, so the friends and family doesn’t call attention to it because that would obviously cause more trouble than helping. I think they spin it in a way that makes the friends and family believe that they are away on business, which helps the earth in a whole without telling them what is really going on.
